Thankfully I still have enough space left in my consumer account to last for years. So I gave up and went back to the consumer version of OneDrive. I'd be fixing shortcuts for YEARS if I allowed M3BE to change the name of my onedrive folder. I have probably hundreds or maybe upwards of a thousand shortcuts spread across my system including within OneNote to my existing directory structure. I just want my Onedrive folder name to be 'Onedrive" as its always been. I finally 'moved up' to Microsoft 365 Business Essentials for my one-person law practice and found this glitch. I used one-drive consumer for as long as onedrive has existed. Sadly you can't change the name of your organization to a blank. Any other suggestions would be so greatly appreciated. It seems the more technical we get the more common sense we loose. This is crazy that customizing / editing the name of the Onedrive was not a design feature with this build - geez. Microsoft!!! - this is just a simple name - unlink the other dependencies you have attached to the company name so it can have a custom name displayed.or just add a feature to allow a display name while still retaining the domain/company name in the background. A legal audit in this scenario would be a disaster. I cannot have Onedrive-CompanyABC showing and have to put documents for CompanyXYZ into this Onedrive named CompanyABC. I have multiple companies that reside under one main domain and need separation for obvious business related legal reasons.

Is there any update on this? Surely it cannot be this complicated to simply change or allow the name of a Onedrive to be edited/changed.yikes! BTW - changing your company name will impact billing and anything else correlating to your company name. Wow, I never thought it would be so hard to change! Title, Description, and Logo" link, but its name is "Team Site" and not what appears in OneDrive. If I click the gear icon and then click Site Settings, there still is no "Change site name and description" anywhere. If is the right page, I cannot find "Web Site Settings > Change site name and description" anywhere. This one showed promise, BUT there is no Site Settings on the top link bar (IF I am even on the right page.that article gives no hint what the "team Web site" page really is).

First two are unrelated because the "MY LONG COMPANY NAME LLC" has nothing to do with my actual tenant account name.
